Message for David our Pastor:
Dear Saints at Wellsford Co-operating Parish,
Hello. This is David Balchin speaking to you
I have some bible verses for us:
Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6. The writer of Hebrews says it again in Hebrews 13:4 Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. The very last thing that Jesus said to those loved Him was, 'And surely I am always with you, to the very end of the age.'
So we have the promise of our heavenly Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ, our big Brother, they they will never leave us, no matter what happens.
But the promises of our heavenly Father do not end there. He promises to bless you through all things, even trials such as this one: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.' (Romans 8:28). So He doesn't just promise that no harm will come to you; He promises that your trials will actually work for your good.
